Realhair is a successful hair salon located in Cale Street, Chelsea. Following the acquisition of an adjacent unit, our client brief was to create an express blow-dry salon allowing for a 30-minute turnaround experience within a relatively small space. The design builds from the semi-industrial theme of the existing salon, with an exploration of new birch ply furniture designed to encompass the requirements for the mirror, storage, hairdryer & lighting. Seven individual styling stations are created & designed to be highly visible from the street facade, with backwash stations located at the rear. The reception design evolved from the requirement to merge two essential uses: reception desk & seating area. 

 

All back of house facilities are located at basement level in order to allow for an uncluttered ground floor plan.
