Our client’s brief asked us to investigate possibilities for creating an extra study and bedroom accommodation; the solution involved creating an open vaulted ceiling at roof levels in order to create additional usable space. Due to limited circulation, a unique alternative-tread walnut staircase was designed with the dual purpose of housing storage.
