BP Apartment Complex

Our brief called for a new self-contained apartment complex in Baku, Azerbaijan comprising a series of five 4,000m2 four-storey buildings forming a new residential complex arranged around a central street social core. The site is to accommodate an administration building as well as supporting restaurant facilities for BP.

 

The arrangement of the complex comprises a restaurant to serve 500 persons on a daily basis, office accommodation for support staff, an administration building with reception, offices, transient guest rooms, leisure facilities and five apartment buildings.

 

The scheme takes a staggered linear formation to bring in natural daylight creating visibility throughout the complex and an inherent ‘street’ corridor that links all blocks.
