Balvaird Place

The brief was to refurbish this 5 bedroom terraced house in Pimlico and to maximise the usage of an area of the terrace to the top floor. With its views extending across to the River Thames, triple glazed units were used to infill the existing terrace facade, enlarging the floor space to the top floor and creating a large open bathroom. The glazing units were designed to ensure soundproofing due to the property's location on the Embankment. The units also have a centre pivot to enable a 360° flip for maintenance with lockouts for safety.
